Raging and Man Friends (WIAW)

Hey ya’ll! Wow, I haven’t blogged in a week. Shocker, but not really. I’ve been busy with school and MAN FRIENDS. Yes you heard it right here. I finally have a man friend (after being a jealous person over Kara and Britt’s man friends), but technically I’ve sort of had him for a while. Details don’t really matter. Anyways, he came over for dinner on Saturday night because he didn’t believe that healthy food can be delicious. Totally proved him wrong. Winning. Then we went to this insane concert. I fell in love…not with him, but with electro house music. Oh no she didn’t. Oh yeah, sadly after teasing it for so long, I finally have understood the magic behind it. Plus who doesn’t like sick lights to a dope beat? A crazy person probably. Plus you get to dance dance dance. Literally I couldn’t walk the next day. My body hurt so bad. Lets get to the good stuff: The fooooood.

Oh yeah, can’t believe I forgot to say thanks to Jenn for hosting my favorite day of the week. It is probably one of the main reasons I always remember to blog at least once a week. I need to get better about that.

This is the concert I was at in Austin. Wolfgang Gartner. Check it out.

Back to the food.
Lemon and Strawberry Heaven Pie Oats:
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oats
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet truvia
1/4 c. cottage cheese
1 banana
1 tsp of Lemon pudding powder
slices of strawberries

1. Prepare oats with water in microwave for about 2:55 minutes.
2. Slice up banana into small slices then add to oat mixture and microwave for 1:15 minutes.
3. Add in vanilla, truvia, and cottage cheese.
4. Add lemon pudding powder and mix thoroughly.
5. Slice strawberries and throw into bowl.

Oh lord, this combination is so delicious. Who knew that adding a little pudding powder to your oatmeal would take it over the edge? Thank god for that discovery. The oatmeal is not overly sweet or sour, it just has a nice hint of lemon and when mixed with the strawberries it is like the perfect pairing ever. Not only is this tasty, but it is also really cheap. Pudding is like .40 cents a box. I’m going to run to the store now and load up for a lifetime. Not even kidding. I just bought butterscotch, pistachio, and chocolate. Yummmmmmy.

Speaking of pudding powder, I have discovered another lovely creation from the blog world:
Pudding in greek yogurt. Just go out, buy a huge thing of plain chobani or whatever brand you like, and add in pudding powder. This bowl here is chocolate pudding with strawberries. Can you see a trend here? Yes, I love strawberries. No, they are actually on sale right now, so the Jew in me is like MUST BUY every week until not on sale. Good deals get the best of me usually all the time. Anyways, this is such a tasty snack to have every day. I can’t wait to try out my other pudding flavors on this bad boy. Also I should probably invest in some other types of fruit. I think I’m going to go the frozen route that way I can get a variety of fruit for a cheap price. I really need to stop Jewing everything.

Mmmm my version of a burger salad. Chopped up extra lean turkey burger, sliced up pickles, onions, lots of lettuce, and top it all off with dijon mustard. So good. I love salads that are jam packed with a bunch of stuff. Especially pickles. I’m a freak about pickles. My roommate eats my pickles sometimes, and I literally want to kill her. Yes, I’m crazy. I pay for my own food, so please don’t eat it or I will turn into a bank and ask for money. Sorry. Too much drama. Can’t you tell that I’m excited to find a new apartment and live with my future roommate?

J-E-L-L-O. Jelloooooo. Totally not kosher, but when you want a low calorie snack that in my opinion tastes really good (especially with whipcream) then Jello is going to be your best friend. Make sure it is the sugar free version because I think it is actually 0 calories or something close to that. Jello should be weightlosses best friend. Beat those cravings with Jello. I should advertise for them or they should at least give me free jello packs.

Now to the dinner that shut the guy up. I used this amazing recipe from my new favorite website: Skinny Taste. Not only are all of Gina’s recipes super beautiful to look at, but they are tasty and really low calorie (also random plug, if you are doing weight watchers, she has all the points on the website for each recipe). I made the Chicken Rollatini with spinach. It turned out so amazing. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of the dish that had all the chicken in it because it looked sooo beautiful. Anyways, I served it up with a side of spaghetti squash and gluten free rolls. Man friend was like wow this is actually good. Well obviously it is good, I made it. Also eating healthy is actually tasty, you just have to know what you are doing.

Remember how I told you I was sewing an apron? Well I actually finished it a while ago, I just forgot to post a picture of it. I made man-friend dinner in this cute little thing. I’m actually thinking about opening an Etsy account with a friend and selling them on there along with artwork and other things made by us. What do you think? Do you think people would buy these aprons? I would also do custom ones too. Let me know. I want the money, honey.

Other good news: My $200 Lulu Lemon giftcard has finally arrived (helloooo shopping), I’m going to Houston this weekend with my mom to relax from the stress of school (lezz be honest, I’m going to shop till I drop), and I have a job interview tomorrow (with a nutrition company). I’m so excited. I hope everyone is having a great week!

What are your plans for the weekend?
Have you ever been to an electro house concert?

A Much Needed Holiday

Hey ya’ll! Sorry I’ve been MIA. I had no internet during thanksgiving break plus I wanted a break from the world. These last weeks of school are exhausting with tons of exams and papers due. I really have no idea how I’m alive. My break wasn’t even that great. I didn’t get to veg out like I wanted in front of the tv (I don’t have tv at my apartment, so when I go home I just sit and watch shows I have recorded). Anyways it was a crazy week. I did eat some good food though. Unfortunately I was so hungry during my turkey day meal that I forgot to record it all, but I have random eats that I consumed throughout the week.
German Chocolate Oatmeal (Gluten Free)
1/3 c Gluten Free Oats
1 1/3 c. Water
1 banana
1 package of 20 calorie hot cocoa
coconut, chocolate chips, pecans
2 tbsp PB2

1. Make the oatmeal the night before using the normal method of oats and water in microwave for about 2:50, then let sit in microwave for 5 minutes.
2. Next morning, microwave with sliced up banana for 2 minutes.
3. Stir up until all mixed perfectly.
4. Add cocoa, coconut, chocolate chips, and pecans (as much or as little as you would like)
5. Top with PB2 and enjoy

Mine came out a little soupy, but it was actually really delicious. I added too much water, so the oats did not absorb it all, but if you like oatmeal like that then go ahead and add more water than required on the recipe. I love german chocolate cake, so this was pretty good. The only thing missing was the icing, but my backside does not need that sort of fat.

Right now I am currently obsessed with spaghetti squash. I have been looking all over the internet and books for delicious recipes, but alas I found nothing. I had to come up with something on my own. Hmm. What are some of my favorite things? Cheese. Cheese. Oh and cheese. In case you did not know, cheese is one of my favorite food groups. Yes, it has its own category, screw the general dairy one. What did I come up with?
Easy Spaghetti Squash Cheese, Chicken, and Broccoli (Gluten Free)
1 cup or more of spaghetti squash “noodles”
2 light laughing cow cheese wedges (I used swiss cheese)
3 oz of cooked chicken
1 cup of frozen broccoli

1. The night before I had cooked chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper in the oven for about 20 minutes at 350.
2. Next day I cooked my spaghetti squash whole and pulled out all the “noodles”
3. Cook broccoli according to the package
4. Mix in broccoli, cut up chicken, and cheese with “noodles” in a bowl
5. Then place in microwave for about 2 minutes or long enough until the cheese begins to melt.
6. Then mix up until “noodles” become cheesy goodness

While I did not record what I ate on actual thanksgiving, I did record a fun little family outing that occurred during break. Where did we go? Oh to my favorite gluten filled place…Gordoughs. How can I say no to the most delicious donuts on planet earth? I can’t, although my stomach and the bathroom probably wished I had. It was so worth it though. Unfortunately my family consumed most of the donuts in about 3 minutes or less, so I only managed to snag a photo of what my brother and I split, and what he was eating the next morning for breakfast.
Meet the Puddin. My new best and worst friend. How can that be? It is so delicious and beautiful, but my body does not need to consume that much gluten in one sitting or that much fat. Lets just pretend that it is zero calories. I’ll tell my self that next time, so I don’t feel guilty later on in the night. Not only is the donut creme-filled, but it is also topped with cream cheese icing. Yes, the moment it enters your mouth your life will be changed forever. It had a sweet creamy goodness mixed with a small crunch from the vanilla wafers. Also there besides the overkill of sugar sweet, there was a natural sweetness added by the bananas. Overall this donut has definitely become my favorite or at least it holds a soft spot in my heart until I try something else on the menu.

Oh hello there Granny’s Pie. Yes, the donut actually does taste like your grandma made it. So much love went into this donut creation. While there is no filling for this one, it is topped with pecans, bananas, graham crackers, caramel, and some unknown icing. While I was hoping for an apple pie from granny, she didn’t let me down with this sweet treat. The salty flavor added by the pecans provided a nice twist to a super sugary donut. The donut itself was fried to perfection. Not too soft, but not too crisp either. The combination of the caramel and bananas was reminiscent of an awesome treat you would find at Dairy Queen or Sonic. I’m in love, but I still won’t cheat on my Puddin.

My older brother ended up having blue balls. No. Get your mind out of the gutter. Not that, but these donut holes that have blueberry filling and are covered with blueberries on the outside. These definitely dyed your mouth a dark blue, but they were actually pretty good. Not my favorite, but heck it is gordoughs and they do not make anything bad. My mom ended up with Son of Peach, which we had sampled at the Trailer Park Festival. She is a sucker for anything with peaches and icing that resembles a cinnabon.

I stalk pinterest about 50 times a day. You think I’m overexaggerating? No, I actually have it on my iPhone all day during class and when I get back to my apartment I will check it periodically to find new things to make or eat or just drool at. Anyways I have seen this pumpkin smoothie pop up A MILLION times. Not only have I found it, but my brother and friends have also pinned it. It looked so good that I had to try it. I think pinterest was just trying to tell me that I had to make it. Best choice ever. It tasted like pumpkin pie in liquid form. The extra cinnamon I added gave it a little kick it needed, but it was creamy and all of the ingredients did not erase the distinct flavor of pumpkin. Also the spices gave it a sensational aroma that wafted throughout my kitchen at the apartment. I will be loading up on pumpkin and greek yogurt in order to make this again and again.

Hope everyone had an amazing holiday break. Definitely not looking forward to all my final exams. Boooo.

How was your break? What was the most memorable thing that you ate?

I Want YOU So Bad!

Hey ya’ll! Sorry for the lack of posts. No excuses. I’ve been lazy. Bad me. I have a crazy last two days of class coming up. Two exams: Food Science and Food Systems. One Single Spaced Paper due and to make it even worse its a group project. Let me tell you that this past week has been filled with drama because of it being in groups. I hate my original group, so I decided to write my own paper and just help my other group. Then I had two girls join me on my solo project (we are finished, YAY!), BUT their groups weren’t happy and I still have to help my original group (who are two of the stupidest people EVER). Sorry, but not sorry. I’m kind of harsh on people, but if there is one thing I can’t stand it is stupid people.

ANYWAYS. On a much brighter note this post is dedicated to WIAW. Although I completely missed WIAW, so this is just my way of honoring the wonderful Jenn a day late. Instead of just including one day of eats, I have mixed up a couple of meals because I can do that.

First up we have some yummy Pumpkin Pie Pancakes.
All you need to do to make these is follow my Pumpkin and Banana Pancake Recipe, but just omit the bananas. Also, I used fat free milk this time instead of coconut milk. I thought it tasted the exact same, so I guess it just depends on your milk preference.

I have been up to no good in class creating some good oatmeal combinations that will be appearing on the blog throughout the next week. Recently I decided to make Chocolate Covered Strawberry Oatmeal. Superb.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Oats (Gluten Free)
1/3 c. of Gluten Free Oats
1 1/2 c. of water
1 package of 20 calorie cocoa mix
handful of chocolate chips
1 cup sliced strawberries
1/8 tsp vanilla
1 packet of truvia
1 tbsp of PB2

1. Microwave the oats and water in a plastic measuring cup for 2:50, and then let sit for about 5 minutes with door closed
2. Place in refrigerator for overnight
3. In the morning, microwave for about 2-3 minutes, depending on how hot you want the oatmeal
4. Mix in cocoa, chocolate chips, vanilla, truvia, and strawberries
5. Top with PB2 and a couple of strawberry slices and enjoy

I think I should start a class at school that is oatmeal 101 just so I can have more time in the day to come up with recipes. I love oatmeal. For me it isn’t a healthy living blog thing because I know a lot of people out there just eat oats because it is popular, but I have been eating them since I was like 6, so yeah I’m just that cool as an originator. Or I like to pretend that I am to make up for all my nerd-tastic qualities.

New discovery. Okay it wasn’t really my discovery, but I was the one that seeked it out in order to get some. This girl in my food systems lab came to class one week with a bunch of gluten free baked goods from our schools monthly farmers market. Usually I’m sort of sketched out by baked goods that are gluten free because one time I had these funky breads that left bad tastes in my mouth. Never again. This looked good though, so I faced my fear. It was awesome. I had to go get some of my own. Of course the market had closed by the time I made it there, so the girl in my class gave me the company’s card. Sweet Texas. Oh how I love thee. I went all the way out to Lakeline Mall just to get this:
Let me introduce you to my new best friend. Sweet Potato Bread. It will blow your mind. Especially for being gluten free. It is better than many gluten containing breads that I have consumed over my lifetime. It contains sweet potato, cinnamon, pecans, and shredded coconut. What a great combination indeed. It was so good that I bought two and some Brazilian cheese bread. I actually enjoyed the farmers market because my good friends the peached tortilla were there. They serve their tacos on corn, which I just found out that day, so I can eat them! Also I found another gluten free company at the market and ended up buying a gluten free snickerdoodle. Not pictured because I ate it in like 5 seconds. Hunger gets the best of me sometimes.

I have had this spaghetti squash sitting on my counter for a while staring at me. It has been wanting me to cook it, but I didn’t want to because I had no good recipes to make. I have been wanting to make this recipe I saw from Heather at Kiss My Broccoli, but I always seem to not have all the ingredients at the same time. However, the other night I was surfing around on pinterest. What else is new right? That thing is addicting. Anyways, I found some inspiration.
Mexican Style Spaghetti Squash
3 oz of cooked chicken
1/4 c. of black beans
1/4 c. diced tomatoes
1/4 c. corn
1/3 c. Pepper Jack shredded cheese
As much spaghetti squash noodles as you want

1. Cook spaghetti squash any method you like then pull the “noodles” from it
2. Place in chicken, beans, tomatoes, corn, and cheese
3. Place in the microwave for 2 minutes or until cheese becomes completely melted

Bon apetit!

My other important discovery was kamut puffs. Hello. Low in calorie for a large amount. I’m not complaining. Plus you can mix whatever you want with it. Greek Yogurt. Fruit. Banana Soft Serve. The list could go on and on. I had mine with blueberries, strawberries, and fat free milk. This is definitely going to be a new standard in my diet.

In non food related news, I want YOU so bad.

Uncle Sam, stop scaring away all my blog readers. So as most of you know I am going away to Israel for 10 days then I will be staying in the big apple for a couple of days after that, so I need some amazing guest posts to entertain the world while I’m out of the country. If anyone is interested please send me an email at survivingcandyland@gmail.com or tweet me or do something crazy? I would love to have anyone write for me. I will also be personally sending out messages asking a couple of people to write, but heck if you beat me to it thats good too! Can’t wait to hear from ya’ll!

Roll Me Over

Hey ya’ll! Hope you are having a good Thursday. I know I am or at least my stomach has been having a happy today. I have been looking forward to Thursday all week. I had a meeting about my trip to Israel then my brother and I had plans for an awesome dinner date. Usually we go somewhere on campus, but this time we decided to venture a little further away. A couple of weeks ago we were driving in a local foodie area in Austin and we saw a sign for this sushi place. Roll On. A sushi diner? That sounds like the greatest concept ever. That day we decided this was where we would go on our dinner date. Best choice we have ever made. Not even joking. The sushi was reasonably priced, the rolls were creative, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was fun.

Inside the diner. Yes it actually looks like a diner inside with sushi chefs in the middle instead of deep fry cooks. Greatest concept EVER.

Hello to the Count. Oh god. Mouth orgasm. Not even lying about this. I had a life changing moment when this roll entered my mouth. Turkey, ham, swiss cheese, tempura, and powdered sugar and strawberry jam to rub the entire roll in. I have never tasted a roll like this. It was like sweet, but savory at the same time. Definitely one of my favorite rolls of the night.

My brother ate the entire stack in like 2 minutes, so I wasn’t able to catch a photo until I got a piece myself. You seriously can’t keep sushi in front of him for more than 5 minutes because he will consume it all. This was the DY-NO-MITE roll. It totally lived up to its name. A mix of crab, shrimp, and some varieties of cream cheese. Really you can’t go wrong with cream cheese. In sushi it makes everything better.

The reason I love this place the most is that they are so creative with their rolls. Who would think of having an egg roll wrapper with a banana, chocolate, peanut butter, and BACON in it? Roll On did. They named it after one of my favorite flavor combinations too. The Elvis. Let me tell you it was amazing. I wanted to take the plate and lick all of it up when we were finished. It was like a sushi dessert. Best way to end the meal.

Oh the Grouch. You would think with a name like that it might not be something so good or it would be trash related, but oh no no. This roll may have been my favorite. The aioli sauce was spicy, which balanced out green chile chicken and caramelized onions.

The Cholesta Roll. Mashed potatoes. Chicken Fried Steak. All served on top of gravy. Southern comfort food in a sushi roll. It couldn’t get any better than this.
This was a simple roll, but so delicious. Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll. So delicious. That is why I love this place. They even take the classic rolls and make them special. Roll On is extremely affordable, so if you ever want to go out on a nice date for a low price this is the place to go. If a guy took me here I would be instantly in love with him. Not only is it good for dates, but if you want a night out with your girlfriends, they offer $5 sake bottle with a beer. Can I say sake bombs anyone? Party at the diner. I can’t forget to mention that one of the owners was extremely friendly and not bad on the eyes either. Overall it was a great night with my brother filled with great food.

Give me MO-re

Hey ya’ll! Guess what? I’m in Missouri. Scary, I know. My mom decided that we needed to come see my grandparents. Not that I don’t love my grandparents, but the town they live in is the smallest thing in existence. You think I’m joking. No. There is one main road with a walmart on one end, a couple of fast food places, and a grocery store. They have a Chinese place that only has two things on the menu. TWO THINGS. Plus they do not have internet at their house, so I finally decided to go steal some at the only hotel in the town. Thank god for Holiday Inn. Anyways I don’t really have time to write a super long post about everything going on in my life because I am sketchy looking sitting out in the parking lot of a holiday inn, but I wanted to share with you some of the things I’ve been eating lately.

Here we go, one more time, everybody is feeling fine..or maybe that is just me on my meds. Uh Oh

Meet one of the great food groups in the world: BBQ. Obviously you do not know what good BBQ is because you do not live in Texas. The state of good meat. Don’t try to kid yourself either. I pretty much refuse to eat BBQ elsewhere unless I’m in desperation for a little taste of home (this has only happened once and it was in Boston). Let me introduce you to one of the greatest places in Austin: Iron Works.
Beef ribs. OH MY GOD. So good. I try to stay away from red meat, but when I have that craving for BBQ ribs, Iron Works is seriously the place to go. This is an Austin staple. The restaurant looks sort of like an old rusty shack downtown, and once you go inside it has an old western flare. Back in the kitchen they have large smokers cooking up delicious things like beef ribs, brisket, and smoked sausage. This place is even so amazing that you can order online. Nom nom nom. A plate comes with baked beans, potato salad, onions and pickles, and a piece of bread (did no consume). When you stick that rib in your mouth, the meat just falls off and the flavors are so rich, especially when mixed with the barbeque sauce. The sauce adds a sweet tangy effect to the smokey taste of the ribs. If you are ever in Austin, I recommend that you go here immediately. Whenever my friends from Boston come to town this is one of the places I take them for a meal.

What happens when you run out of food and have to make a meal from scraps in your cupboards? The greatest creations ever. Say hello to Quinoa Fried Rice.
Quinoa Fried Rice:
1/4 c. Quinoa
1/2 c. of Water
1 bag individual sized frozen peas
Handful of shredded carrots
1 tsp Gluten Free Soy Sauce
3 tbsp of Egg Whites
3 oz cooked chicken

1. Place Quinoa and water in a microwavable safe dish and cover
2. Microwave for 4 minutes, take out to stir, then place back in to microwave for 2 more minutes
3. Cook egg whites separately in small pan, follow instructions for microwavable pea bag
4. Mix all ingredients together in original dish and now you have a delicious meal

Seriously, this dish is a lifesaver. It contains a large amount of protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables. Not to mention it is really delicious. I brought some to eat between classes on Thursday, and so many people came up to me asking what I was eating and if it was easy to make. Due to all of the nutrients it contains, the dish is very filling for the serving size.

A girl needs to treat herself. What better treat than ice-cream? Actually I can think of many, but in Missouri there are not a lot of options. One of the popular places for the local teens to hang out at is Dairy Queen. It is sad, but why not do what the locals do when in town. My brother and I decided to get dipped cones. They are low in fat, and do not contain a ridiculous amount of calories and other scary things like most of the products sold at DQ. BEST. CHOICE. EVER. He got a butterscotch dipped cone and I got a cherry dipped cone. They do not make these in Texas, so it was the greatest discovery ever. So much better than a chocolate dipped cone. Not even joking. I take my ice-cream very seriously.

I’ll leave ya’ll with a little fashion because lets face it, ya’ll have missed my amazing sense of style. At least someone appreciates the way I dress unlike most people in the state of Texas.

Scarf - f21, dress - nordstroms, belt - f21, socks - target, boots - dsw

I hope ya’ll are having an amazing weekend. I’m really just trying to get through mine because it has been pretty rough. When I’m ready I will blog about it, but until then ya’ll will just be left with a mystery. Peace out, I’m getting weird looks from the people that keep coming by my car in the parking lot. Time to leave before someone calls the cops on me. That would definitely not be a fun time.

Are you doing anything exciting this weekend?
Have you eaten anything special this weekend or do you sort of stick to a routine of foods?

Things I realize..

Hey ya’ll! Hope you have been having a good as Monday as you can. I mean really who says have a good Monday because they suck. Especially when you have an exam. Big news: I wrote my first guest post! Yeah, someone actually let me write on their blog. I’m surprised to. Check it out at Kaila’s. It’s semi-serious. It’s about my arthritis, but the cliff notes version. I wouldn’t do that to ya’ll. I’ll be giving you all the juicy details later on when I decide to be serious for once.

Here are some things I have realized lately

I realize that when my brain has been so focused on learning things that I create crazy creations. Pina Colada Oats. Pretty epic. Not gonna lie. The only thing missing would be coconut extract. Being the lucky gluten free person that I am means I can’t have coconut extract. Unfair. I’m used to it. Recipe later. While I made these I sung and danced to the I like Pina Coladas song. My neighbors got a good show.

Really awful picture. Kind of looks like barf in a bowl. Doesn't express the amazingness of pineapple, coconut, and PB. Photo fail.

I realize that by cleaning my entire kitchen today I have become a mature and responsible adult. HA. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I mean I am the same girl that backed into the garage because I was too focused on getting to my friends apartment in order to go to 6th street. Then when my mom’s bf came over to assess the damage, the same girl, ME, asked him if he thought it would be okay to leave the garage door shriveled in a million pieces so I could go out and party. As we can see, I really had my head on that night.

I realize that I have the best lab partner in the world. While I’m sitting there, okay it’s more like sleeping, with my head face planted down in my book, she is taking photos of all the histology slides we have to remember and sends them to me in an email. What did I do to deserve her? The only thing I ever contribute to the group is a bunch of laughs, and they probably only laugh to make me feel better about how I am the odd duck in the group.

I don't know about you, but looking at slides of tissue cells is my idea of a party

I realize that I’m going to be 22 in about 3 weeks. Luckily I decided to take a fifth year (next year), just so I could party more. Obviously by party I mean that I get to examine more slides, cram more information in my brain, and hopefully make all 4.0s. What can I say? I like to get down and nerdy.

I realize that it was actually Monday. Until about 4 pm today I was convinced it was Thursday. Even though I knew my exam was on Monday (don’t worry I went and took it), but I still thought today was Thursday. Obviously, I was extremely disappointed when I realized I had three more days of classes. Brain fart. More like brain dead. I blame it on the Texas heat. Seriously can we get some cooler weather down here. I’m not even asking for much. Low 90s. Maybe. Okay Ill compromise. Mid 90s.

I realize that I’m literally always the only girl sweating by the time I walk all the way from my apartment to class. WTH? Seriously. All these girls in my classes act like its not 105 degrees outside. Their makeup is always perfect and no drops of sweat. AT ALL. I’ve decided they must be robots. I’m just gonna keep telling myself that to make me feel better about being the fashionable sweaty monster that no one wants to sit by in lecture.

My stylish self before the downpour of sweat. Dress, jacket, necklace - F21

I realize that my friends put up with a lot from me. I say weird things, and they still speak to me the next day. Either they must really love me or they are desperate for friends (def not).

If you can't guess which one is me, you need to read my blog more.

Okay, so I realize that I’m just plain weird when it comes to making meals. It is def not the studying. For lunch I had a very interesting combination of a grilled large portabello mushroom, a frozen chicken burger, cheese, and sauteed onions. I mean just look at the picture. Who looks at that and is like damn that looks good?

Weird I know. Don't even bother asking what was going through my head.

I realize that when I walk to class I look intense like I’m out to kill someone or something (Idk apparently that’s what my friend said). I’m really just in my little candyland day dreaming about my life and planning what I have to do for the rest of the day. Yes I sort of live in my imaginary world a lot of the time. Let’s not even get into it because someone might send me to a mental hospital to be checked out.

Now I realize that there is this crazy gnat flying around me trying to be my blend. He doesn’t even have a blog. I don’t think he knows what the word blend is. I’m going to go run away from him now, but hope ya’ll have a wonderful rest of the night.

Also, I’ve added a page where you can stalk me. YES! I know ya’ll are excited. Tweets. Formspring. Email. All of the above. I’d love to hear from you. Get at me.

Is there anything ya’ll have realized about yourself in the last few days?
Whats the weirdest food creation you have made?
